Back to Broadway Apothecary
Allergy/AsthmaThe sinus infection that stays all winter. The nasal drip that antihistamines only help a little. The four unsuccessful rounds of antibiotics. Does this sound like you?In Oregon we are lucky to have lush green landscapes that are beautiful to look at and provide a bounty of food for humans and animals. One drawback to our lovely scenery is a wide variety of diseases that can affect the ears, nose and throat (ENT). Most commonly, they are infectious or allergic in origin and are usually effectively treated with antibiotics or antihistamines. However, commercial medications often are not available in a form that would best suit the management of a particular disease state or which would allow for easier administration to the patient. The primary role of Broadway Apothecary in the management of ENT disorders is that of providing physician-prescribed medications in a variety of forms, such as lozenges, mouth rinses, nasal drops, nasal sprays, solutions for nebulization, troches, etc., that are better suited for a patient’s particular needs.
